Terms
Listlis terms of service
Effective September 8, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Listlis (“Listlis,” “we,” or “us”). They cover the Listlis web app, website, Chrome extension, API, MCP server, sharing, and ingestion features. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. The service is currently published under the Listlis product name; its operator's formal legal name and address have not yet been published.
Your account
Give accurate account information and keep your password, passkeys, sessions, API keys, share links, inbound addresses, webhook secrets, and connected-app access secure. You are responsible for activity authorized through your account and credentials. Tell Listlis promptly if you believe someone has gained unauthorized access.
Your content
You retain your rights in the titles, bodies, files, captures, and other material you put in Listlis. You give Listlis a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, process, index, transmit, display, and back up that material only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service and to carry out the sharing or integrations you choose. The license ends when the material is deleted from active systems, subject to the recovery, search-index, security, and legal-retention periods in the privacy policy.
You must have the rights and permissions needed for material you upload or capture. A source URL, citation, or personal copy does not grant permission to republish someone else's work. You are responsible for what you share and for the people or systems you invite to receive it.
Acceptable use
You may not use Listlis to:
- break the law or violate another person's privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights;
- upload malware or material designed to compromise a device, account, or service;
- probe, bypass, or defeat access controls, service limits, or security measures;
- access another account or private share without permission;
- send spam, abusive traffic, or unlawful content through email or webhook features;
- disrupt the service or impose an unreasonable load on it; or
- help someone else do any of these things.
Sharing and external destinations
Anyone who obtains a public-share link can open its shared snapshot. Search-engine directives discourage indexing but do not make the link secret. Invitations grant the named collaborator the displayed role. Email intake addresses and inbound-webhook URLs create content when used. Outbound webhooks send signed event data to the URL you choose; queued deliveries can still finish after a webhook is revoked. Review each destination and rotate or revoke access when it is no longer needed.
AI clients, MCP, and the API
A connected client can act on your account within the permissions shown on the Listlis consent screen. Read access covers the account's outline and derived views. Write access can create, edit, move, complete, or delete content. Separate permissions cover sharing and API-key metadata. Tool input and returned data pass through the connected client's systems and are also governed by that client's terms and privacy policy.
AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Review proposed actions and tool results before you rely on them, especially deletion, sharing, due dates, and bulk edits. Disconnect a client or revoke its credentials when you no longer want it to act on your account.
Third-party services
Listlis depends on service providers and can link or send data to destinations you choose. Third-party services have their own terms, policies, availability, and security. Listlis is not responsible for a third party's service or its handling of data after a user-directed disclosure.
Service changes and availability
Listlis may add, change, limit, suspend, or remove features to maintain security, reliability, or the product. Planned maintenance, provider failures, network conditions, and software defects can interrupt access. Keep exports suitable for your own recovery needs; Listlis is not an emergency, medical, financial, legal, or archival record system.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Listlis at any time and can ask support to close the account. Account closure is not yet self-service. Listlis may limit or suspend access when reasonably needed to protect the service or others, investigate abuse, comply with law, or address a material breach of these terms. When circumstances allow, Listlis will give notice and a chance to correct the issue.
Data deletion and recovery copies follow the privacy policy. Terms that by their nature should continue after use ends, including rights in content, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions, remain in effect.
Listlis rights
Listlis and its licensors retain their rights in the service's software, design, marks, and documentation. These terms do not give you ownership of the service or permission to use Listlis branding in a way that suggests endorsement.
Disclaimers
To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Listlis disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so these exclusions may not apply to you.
Limits of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Listlis and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or data arising from the service. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited. Your statutory consumer rights remain intact.
Changes to these terms
Listlis may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above will change, and material changes will receive reasonable notice through the service or account email when practical. Continued use after the new terms take effect means you accept them. If you do not agree, stop using the service and request closure.
